MediaLinX  is an IP-Based module designed to convert (in real-time) analog or digital signals from a legacy source (CD player, Cassette, other) into a TC/PIP packet-switched uncompressed (.WAV) audio streams that can be distributed over the DigiLinX home network. The MediaLinX MLA101 features a 3.5mm to RS-232 connection for seamless integration with the Polk Audio® XRt12 XM Satellite Reference tuner (cable included), so that station name, song name, artist name and station cover art can be displayed on the TouchLinX or other user interface for easy selection.

Incorporating a 24-bit / 96kHz Burr-Brown analog-to-digital converter, the MediaLinX MLA101 delivers the best audio fidelity of your legacy audio source. NetStreams Audio Input Compensation Technology allows your installer to adjust the volume level of the legacy source to insure consistent volume levels between the legacy source and other digital audio sources on the DigiLinX multi-room audio network. Analog and S/PDIF RCA inputs are inputs and outputs provide for connection flexibility and straight pass through of the audio signal to a receiver or pre-amp for local room listening as well.

MediaLinX MLA101 also features an RCA input and output for power management sensing (video, level or LED) with a potentiometer for easy threshold adjustment, IR emitter / RS-232 output for easy control, and a Phoenix connector for power.
