Providing unprecedented audio quality and intelligibility from a Doorbell/Intercom module, the DoorLinX features an amplified (4-watt) Reference speaker with a mylar cone, and a embedded microphone with a high gain, omni-directional condenser, allowing for crystal clear communication with any of the NetStreams TouchLinX™ touch screens or the KeyLinX™ KL201 keypads inside the building. DoorLinX also features a door latch activation relay to automatically open the door or gate when a button is pressed on the TouchLinX user interface.
Dealers can choose between five standard doorbell tones or customize the doorbell''s ring tone with any MP3 file up to ½ megabyte. When integrated with the NetStreams DigiLinX system, the DoorLinX will play the customized ringtone on all selected speakers inside the building when a guest rings the doorbell.
If integration with a camera at the installation location is desired, the DoorLinX can be used concurrently with any Panasonic® IP Camera over the DigiLinX system. Users can automatically view who is at the door on any TouchLinX, initiate an intercom session with the DoorLinX, and unlatch the door via a simple graphical user interface. When annoying door-to-door salespeople insist on ringing the doorbell multiple times, homeowners can mute the doorbell by putting their room in Do-not-Disturb (DND) mode.
Designed to mount conveniently in a 2-gang box (with a DoorLinX DXB100 mounting bracket, sold separately), the DoorLinX is extremely easy to install. The DoorLinX is available in three piece parts: the DoorLinX backbox, the DoorLinX electronics, and the DoorLinX faceplate and doorbell package. Three elegant faceplate options are available for DoorLinX: brushed brass, brushed nickel, and oil-rubbed bronze. A separate lighted doorbell button for mounting on the door jamb is included with a matching trim plate. Configuring DoorLinX is also extremely easy, thanks to the NetStreams DigiLinX Dealer Setup Program.
