ControLinX, like all NetStreams DigiLinX products, is very easy to install and is small enough to be hidden away inside a rack or mounted on a wall next to a distribution panel (bracket included). The NetStreams DigiLinX dealer setup program eliminates the need for a separate box for programming.
The CL100 features drivers for Lutron® RadioRA® lighting system integration via RS-232. To integrate a CL100 to a RadioRA lighting system, simply connect the 3.5mm to RS-232 cable to the Lutron RadioRA Chronos™ system bridge and timeclock. Update the firmware on your DigiLinX system and use the DigiLinX dealer setup program to easily program in up to 17 lighting scenes (16 custom + 1 ON/OFF) for control from a TouchLinX, wireless web tablet, PDA, or PC. Additional CL100’s can be added to support multiple Chronos system bridges.
If you desire to control your Aprilaire® heating and cooling system from your TouchLinX, simply connect a ControLinX CL100 to the Aprilaire 8811 protocol adaptor, and use the DigiLinX dealer setup program for programming. The ControLinX can also manage additional Aprilaire outdoor temperature and humidity sensors (8061 or 8062), so from any graphical user interface in your DigiLinX system you can view outdoor temperature and humidty.
The CL100 also provides for easy IR control of additional devices via an IR emitter connected to its 3.5mm IR output. Learn the IR codes by pointing the remote control at the IR receiver on the ControLinX, and then name the buttons using the DigiLinX dealer setup program.
ControLinX can also be used to automatically mute the music in all rooms of DigiLinX Distributed Audio/Video and Control system when a doorbell rings via voltage sensing. Simply connect a shielded cable (1 RCA plug to two tinned wires) to the RCA connection on the ControLinX and use the recessed pentiometer to adjust the trigger level. An LED indicator is also provided on the product to indicate when the sensor is on. Utilize the DigiLinX dealer setup program to select between a 15 second or 30 second muting of the music.
Offer your customers the ability to integrate Lutron RadioRA lighting systems, Aprilaire automated heating and cooling systems, doorbell mute interface or other IR controlled systems using the ControLinX CL100. Upgrade the firmware via the DigiLinX dealer setup program in the future to obtain additional drivers for additional systems. And that’s just the beginning.
